Job summary

Valvoline is seeking an Entry-Level Lube Technician to join a friendly, collaborative team. You’ll perform preventative maintenance and oil changes, while learning through a robust training program designed to grow your skills and career.

Qualifications

• From day one, you’ll get hands‑on training and support to thrive as a Lube Technician.

• Ability to review and understand training materials, safety procedures, and instructions.
• Fluent English reading, writing, and speaking.

Responsibilities

• Perform oil changes and basic maintenance tasks.
• Check and refill vehicle fluids; rotate tires; inspect and replace lights and wipers.
• Test and replace batteries; perform an 18-point maintenance check.
• Provide top-tier customer service and support to guests.

Your road to VIOC doesn’t require previous automotive experience. Through our award-winning training program, we’ll teach you how to:

• Change oil
• Check and refill fluids
• Rotate tires
• Test and replace batteries
• Inspect and replace lights and wipers
• Perform an 18-point maintenance check
• And other preventive maintenance services

• Schedule flexibility (Weekend availability is likely, but we ensure you don’t work late nights or holidays)

• This role requires the ability to review, read, and understand written and digital training materials, safety procedures, labels, and operational instructions
• English fluency in reading, writing, and speaking
• We expect you can:
  • Stand for up to 8 hours, climb stairs, and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds
  • Crouch, bend, twist, and work with your hands above your head
  • Be comfortable working in a non‑climate-controlled environment
