Job summary

Total Quality Logistics (TQL) is hiring for an entry level sales role in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. No experience is required; we provide a paid, hands-on training program in sales and logistics.

You’ll build relationships, negotiate freight deals, and manage shipments from pickup to delivery while learning the industry from the ground up. What’s in it for you: $40,000–$50,000 minimum compensation in your first year (based on education), plus an uncapped commission.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Receive 6 months of direct training from experienced Logistics Account Executives.
• Help the account executive solve customer needs, find carriers, and manage daily operations.
• Participate in hands-on and virtual training sessions.
• Develop negotiation skills through prospecting and cold calling.
• Build your book and meet sales metrics to become eligible for commission.
• Establish relationships to close new customers and negotiate prices with customers and carriers.
• Resolve freight issues to ensure timely pickup and delivery.
