Job summary

Reyes Family of Businesses is seeking an Associate Driver for local routes from St. Johns, MI. This entry-level role is designed for new drivers with less than 1 year of Class A driving experience.

The Associate Driver delivers to customers, handles unloading, and performs pre/post-trip checks on equipment. You will operate a commercial vehicle and pallet handling equipment, with weekly pay and a $5,000 sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• 0 to 1+ years of specific driving experience.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must possess a valid Class A, B, or C CDL or equivalent driving experience.
• Must be able to lift 25–50 lbs regularly and up to 170 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Unload and deliver products to customers and perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Safely operate a commercial vehicle including conveyors and carts.
• Operate powered pallet jacks or hand trucks and manage return pallets.
• Complete delivery and pickup paperwork.

Position responsibilities:

• The Associate Driver is responsible for unloading and delivering products to our customers as well as pre-trip and post-trip inspections of equipment and vehicle
• This role must have the ability to safely and professionally operate a commercial motor vehicle including conveyors and carts
• Drivers will securely operate powered industrial trucks and/or material handling equipment such as an electric pallet jack and/or hand truck
• You will pick up returned products including payments and pallets as well as completing delivery and pick up paperwork
• Other duties as assigned

Required Education and Experience:

• 0 to 1 plus years of specific driving experience
• Must be at least 21 years old
• Must possess a valid Class A, B, or C Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or equivalent driving experience in the military
• Must be able to lift products from 25 pounds to 50 pounds on a regular basis and up to 170 pounds

Preferred Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree
