Job summary

Unitas Funding LLC is seeking a detail-oriented loan processor to move residential mortgage loans from application to underwriting in Cranford, NJ. You will be the go-between for borrowers, brokers, and our underwriting team, collecting documentation, keeping files organized, and ensuring no item falls through the cracks.

The role emphasizes building files, moving pipelines, coordinating appraisals and reports, and serving as the main contact among brokers, borrowers, and closers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication — comfortable talking with borrowers, brokers, and internal teams daily.
• No prior loan processing experience required — sharp, dependable, service-minded approach.

Responsibilities

• Build the file by collecting and reviewing borrower/broker documents and preparing loan summaries.
• Keep things moving by managing the pipeline, tracking timelines, clearing stipulations, and flagging bottlenecks.
• Coordinate the details by ordering/appraising and tracking appraisals, title, inspections, and credit reports; liaise with settlement companies and closers.
• Be the connector as the main contact between brokers, borrowers, account executives, underwriters, and closers.
