Job summary

The role focuses on isolating primary cells from rodent and human livers, with training provided in perfusion digestion and cell purification using MACS and elutriation.

The incumbent will prepare instruments, maintain equipment, manage records, and assist with protocol stewardship.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 4+ years of relevant research experience required.
• Knowledge of chemistry to prepare and pH solutions.
• Excellent organizational and interpersonal communication skills (verbal and written).
• Willingness to learn new methods and work outside normal hours on occasion.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and sterilize instruments and solutions for cell isolation and culture.
• Maintain relevant equipment and records; manage costs for recharge accounting.
• Assist with animal and human research protocol stewardship.
• Work with multiple clients and manage scheduling, including occasional nights or weekends.
