Job summary

HarveStaff LLC seeks an Entry Level Laboratory Technician in Creve Coeur, MO to support development, testing, and improvement of mechanical and electrical systems used in laboratories, production, and agricultural environments.

You will collaborate with engineering, science, and safety teams to develop innovative solutions, validate system performance, and ensure compliance with PPE and safety requirements in on-site settings. This role starts Sep 28, 2026, with travel up to 15%.

Qualifications

  • 1–3 years of relevant experience.
  • Basic knowledge of constructing and testing electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Strong mathematical skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Laboratory experience, including sample preparation and data collection/management.
  • Experience using standard office productivity software, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Fabrication and assembly experience is a plus, including use of hand and power tools.
  • Experience with soldering, cutting, welding, grinding, and drilling is a plus.
  • Experience using electrical test equipment such as digital multimeters and oscilloscopes is a plus.
  • PCB component-level soldering and troubleshooting experience is a plus.
  • Experience programming and using single-board microcontrollers/computers is a plus.
  • Experience with higher-level programming languages is a plus.
  • Experience operating milling and drilling machines and lathes is a plus.

Education/Training/Certifications

Additional Requirements
  • Must be able to pass drug screenings and criminal background checks
  • Start Time: 08:00 AM
  • Willing to work on-site full-time.
  • Willing to travel up to 15% of the time.
  • Ability to work in laboratory, production, and agricultural environments.
  • Must follow required PPE and safety requirements.
  • Required PPE includes safety glasses, lab coat, and gloves.
Pay Rate/Salary
  • Estimated Salary: $19.12 to $27.12 per hour. Compensation will be offered within this posted range based on experience, skills, and market factors.
