Job summary

Pace seeks a dependable Lab Assistant to support our environmental testing lab in Westborough, MA. This entry-level role requires no prior lab experience and includes comprehensive training.

Primary duties include washing, drying, organizing, and returning lab glassware, plus basic data entry and support tasks to keep the lab efficient and compliant. We offer a Thursday–Monday shift from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM with a starting pay of $17.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• No prior laboratory experience required; training provided.
• Willingness to learn cleaning and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Wash and clean laboratory glassware according to procedures.
• Dry, organize, and return glassware to correct locations.
• Transport glassware between laboratory areas as needed.
• Keep washing and storage areas clean, safe, and organized.
• Dispose of broken glassware following safety rules.
• Monitor and restock laboratory supplies.
• Help maintain general lab cleanliness and organization.
• Follow safety procedures and wear PPE (lab coat, goggles, gloves).
• Assist team with basic support tasks and data entry as needed.
