Job summary

Slingshot Architecture seeks an Interior Design Associate or Interior Designer 1 for our Des Moines studio. The role targets an emerging professional with a Bachelor of Interior Design and up to three years of experience on the path to licensure.

You will work under senior designers, contribute to concept development, and document plans for construction. Strong collaboration and client-facing skills are essential in our fast-paced Midwest environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Interior Design or equivalent on the path to licensure.
• Up to 3 years of industry experience.
• Proficiency with interior development and concept development processes.

Responsibilities

• Assist with interior development and concept boards, imagery, sketches and drawings.
• Document floor/ceiling/elevations/finish plans and schedules for construction docs.
• Support design team with finish boards, client meetings, and project samples.
