Job summary

Slingshot Architecture is seeking an eager, recent Architecture graduate to join our Des Moines studio as an Entry-Level Architectural Associate. You’ll support multiple project phases under supervision, contributing to development documentation, and coordinating with designers and architects to advance concepts to construction-ready plans.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Architecture with up to two years of non-licensed experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture is required.
• Up to two years of non-licensed experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Learn the SSA design process and project software, including ArchiCAD.
• Prepare detailed architectural drawings, specifications, and construction documents to support project execution.
• Work closely with project team members to refine designs and address technical challenges.
• Assist in preparing for client presentations by organizing visuals and drafting meeting notes.
• Join client meetings or site visits to gain exposure to client communication and project oversight.
