Job summary

The Juris Agency is seeking an entry-level Insurance Sales Representative to join our in-office team. The role offers an annual base salary plus commission and bonus opportunities, with training and licensing support for unlicensed candidates.

You will work with customers to assess their insurance needs, explain options, and help them find suitable coverage while building sales and professional skills. This is a full-time position in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Self-motivated, dependable, and goal-oriented.
• Comfortable speaking with customers in person and over the phone.
• Authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Connect with prospective and existing customers to understand their insurance needs.
• Sell and service auto, home, life, and other insurance products.
• Educate customers on coverage options and explain policies in a clear and professional manner.
• Generate new business through provided leads, referrals, follow-ups, networking, and relationship-building.
• Develop and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships.
• Conduct needs-based sales conversations and identify opportunities to meet customers' insurance needs.
• Follow up with prospects consistently and professionally.
• Handle customer questions, concerns, and common sales objections.
• Accurately enter and maintain customer information using CRM and insurance technology platforms.
• Protect sensitive customer information and maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.
• Meet individual sales and performance goals.
• Participate in ongoing training, coaching, and professional development.
• Work collaboratively with the agency team to provide an exceptional customer experience.
