Atlas Surveying, Inc. is hiring an Entry-Level Instrument Operator to support field operations across the Southeast. No prior surveying experience is required as we provide comprehensive training and mentorship from seasoned professionals.

You will assist in setting up equipment, learn basic surveying techniques, and contribute to accurate data collection while working in a collaborative, safety-conscious environment. Growth opportunities and a supportive team await.

Qualifications

• No prior surveying experience required; training provided.
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn new skills.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a team and follow instructions.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Physical ability to work outdoors in varying weather and terrain.
• Ability to bend, stoop, reach, and lift up to 75 lbs.
• Honest, dependable, safety-conscious, with a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Assist in setup and operation of surveying equipment including total stations, GPS, and data collectors.
• Learn and apply basic surveying techniques under supervision.
• Hold survey rods, measure distances, and record data accurately.
• Follow instructions from Crew Chief and senior team members.
• Maintain survey equipment and assist with transport to job sites.
• Adhere to safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
