This entry-level role is designed for individuals looking to build a long-term career in residential millwork and door installation. Apprentices work alongside experienced Lead Installers with hands-on training and a clear path to progress to an independent installer within roughly one year.

Qualifications

• Some hands-on experience in construction, carpentry, or home improvement preferred.
• Strong interest in learning a skilled trade and growing into an installer role.
• Positive attitude and ability to take direction from Lead Installers.
• Good communication and professionalism in customer-facing environments.
• Ability to perform physical work, including lifting and working on job sites.
• EPA Lead Certification a plus (training provided if needed).

Responsibilities

• Assist Lead Installers with residential interior and exterior door installations.
• Learn proper measuring, cutting, fitting, and finishing techniques.
• Prepare and maintain tools, materials, and work areas.
• Protect customer homes and maintain clean, organized job sites.
• Follow installation standards, safety procedures, and company guidelines.
• Communicate respectfully with homeowners and team members.
• Travel to job sites as required (per diem provided when applicable).
• Demonstrate reliability, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn.
