Job Description

ZCorum is seeking a dynamic, tech-savvy individual to join our sales team. This is an inside sales position in an exciting industry, where you will be selling ZCorum’s products and services to broadband service providers such as independent telephone companies, cable companies, municipalities, utilities, and wireless internet service providers.

This position is based in the State of Georgia.

Qualifications:

  • A consultative sales personality, encompassing a polite but assertive demeanor, a strong drive to win new business, and a desire to genuinely meet the needs of prospects. 1-2 years of successful sales experience is helpful.
  • An ability to quickly learn new technology and concepts and apply sales abilities to promote ZCorum’s products and services. Knowledge of broadband internet equipment and networking fundamentals is helpful.
  • Familiarity with or ability to quickly learn internal applications for customer engagement, including contact management software, word processing, spreadsheets, presentation software, and CRM tools like Hubspot or Salesforce.

Responsibilities once trained:

  • Managing all aspects of the sales cycle: prospecting, cold calling, follow-ups, appointments, needs assessments, ROI analysis, proposals, reading buying signals, handling objections, and closing sales.
  • Facilitating web-based presentations and information sessions via Google Meet.
  • Tracking sales activity with reports, forecasts, and prospect analyses.
  • Collaborating with other departments such as Sales Engineering, Network Engineering, and Management.
  • Being creative, determined, and flexible to drive demand and move prospects through the pipeline.
  • Building strong business relationships based on trust and value.
  • Staying engaged and proactive in learning about industry developments.
  • Performing efficiently in a fast-paced, technological environment.
  • Performing other duties as assigned.
