Job summary

Sensient Technologies Corporation is seeking an Innovation Associate in the Food Color Business unit in St. Louis, MO, to join a growing team of scientists.

The role involves analytical work, experimental trials, data interpretation, and collaboration with research scientists to support formulation development for color systems. You'll observe and record test results, assist in trials, analyze data, review competitive literature, attend material meetings, and help drive projects to completion

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Food Science or Biochemistry.
Strong analytical and data interpretation skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

Observe, calculate, record and interpret results of tests; calibrate equipment.
Assist innovation scientists in trials, data analysis and recording results.
Evaluate competitive landscape, review publications and technologies.
Attend raw material meetings and participate in stability studies.
Drive project work to completion and data entry into the retorting tool.
Represent Sensient at conferences and customer presentations.
