Job summary

Veracity Insurance Solutions, LLC is seeking a precise, persistent Junior Information Security & Compliance Analyst to join our team. This entry-level role focuses on executing the security and compliance program across Veracity and related entities, with opportunities to own recurring tasks and grow into a second line of security response.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of professional security or compliance experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, IT, Cybersecurity, or related field.
• Working familiarity with at least one major cloud or productivity platform (AWS, Microsoft 365/Azure, or Google Workspace).
• Demonstrated ability to own recurring, detail-heavy work to completion without reminders.
• Comfort with spreadsheets, Jira, and documentation tools.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills – able to gather evidence for auditors.
• Sound judgment and discretion handling sensitive information including customer PII and NPI.
• Coachability and genuine curiosity about security.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security dashboards, alerts, and logs across cloud services and triage per runbooks.
• Run recurring vulnerability scans and maintain the remediation tracker.
• Serve as first‑line triage for phishing and security questions; escalate promptly.
• Support incident response as first responder and scribe; draft post-incident notes.
• Maintain security tooling health (MFA, agents, logging) and report gaps.
• Execute access provisioning and deprovisioning tied to onboarding/off-boarding.
• Run quarterly user access reviews and document exceptions.
