Job summary

Miller Integrated Solutions is seeking an Entry Level Maintenance Assistant to support senior technicians in maintenance and repair tasks on industrial equipment at our Sulphur, LA site. You will perform routine inspections, assist with repairs, and record maintenance activities while following strict safety protocols.

The role involves 12‑hour shifts, potential overtime, and travel to Miller sites as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• No prior experience is required, but any experience in an industrial field is preferred.
• Acceptable MVR/Background Check and pass pre-employment screenings.

Responsibilities

• Support senior technicians in performing maintenance and repair tasks on industrial equipment.
• Conduct routine inspections of machinery and equipment to identify potential issues.
• Assist in repairing or replacing defective parts and components.
• Perform basic maintenance tasks such as cleaning, lubricating, and adjusting equipment.
• Record details of maintenance and repair activities, including parts used and procedures followed.
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Participate in training programs to develop technical skills and knowledge.
