E I Williams Industries LLC is seeking a maintenance technician to inspect and service industrial equipment at our facility in Sarepta, LA. The role involves identifying issues before they cause downtime and performing repairs on a variety of machinery, in addition to preventive maintenance to extend equipment life.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma, 2+ years of manufacturing maintenance experience, and strong electrical/mechanical knowledge accompanied by hands-on tool

Qualifications

2+ years' experience as a maintenance technician in a manufacturing environment.
Technical knowledge in electrical and mechanical systems.
Proficiency with hand tools.
Good communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
Availability to work evening, weekend, or emergency hours as needed.
Computer literate.

Responsibilities

Inspect equipment and machinery to identify issues before they escape.
Repair and maintain a variety of fabrication and industrial equipment.
Perform preventive maintenance to avoid breakdowns and extend equipment lifespan.
Read and interpret manuals and work orders to execute maintenance tasks accurately.
Assist with minor facility and janitorial tasks.
