Job summary

STEEL Enterprise seeks Maintenance – Technicians, Millwrights, Electricians, and Automation Techs to support a busy industrial facility in Louisiana. The roles involve inspections, troubleshooting, installation, and coordination of preventive maintenance across multiple trades.

Ideal candidates have hands-on experience in maintenance within an industrial setting, basic computer skills, and the ability to work overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• • Six months of training and close supervision in the position or foreman role.
• • Experience in an industrial environment using related tools and equipment.
• • High school diploma or GED strongly preferred; certification a plus.

Responsibilities

• • Perform periodic inspections, tests, and maintenance procedures on equipment to preserve functionality.
• • Troubleshoot issues with equipment and communicate outcomes to supervision.
• • Install and connect power supply wiring and conduit for new equipment.
• • Diagnose malfunctions and repair/replace parts as needed.
• • Lead maintenance activities and coordinate with leads and supervisors.
