Job summary

UFP Industries is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our manufacturing team. The role focuses on maintaining, repairing, and installing equipment under supervision, with opportunities to contribute to safety and reliability.

You will perform routine PMs, inspect machinery, read basic schematics, and collaborate with other departments to keep production running smoothly. High school diploma or GED and 1–2 years in industrial maintenance preferred.

Qualifications

High School graduate or GED required.
1–2 years of experience in maintenance/repair of industrial equipment preferred.
Must possess a valid state driver’s license.
Ability to safely use hydraulic/pneumatic equipment, presses, cordless drills, clamps, and other small tools.
Familiarity with measuring equipment (0.001” accuracy) for diagnosing wear or damage.

Responsibilities

Perform routine tasks and duties including scheduled preventative maintenance as assigned by a supervisor.
Inspect, repair, and maintain mechanical equipment and machinery.
Follow safety and lock-out/tag-out procedures; read basic machine schematics with minimal guidance.
Organize parts and cooperate with other departments to support operations.
Display a positive team-oriented approach and willingness to learn.
