Job summary

Trident Seafoods is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic I to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain machinery and equipment across the plant. This role supports production through preventive maintenance and basic repairs, under supervision.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, and at least one year in industrial maintenance or a related program; forklift certification and food-manufacturing experience are a plus. This is a full-time, on-site position with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum one year of industrial maintenance experience or completion of a technical trades program.
• One-year technical certificate in related field is preferred.
• Forklift certification or willingness to obtain is preferred.
• Experience in food manufacturing is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain machinery and electrical equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance per schedules.
• Assist with installation and setup of equipment and replacement parts.
• Use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Maintain clean and safe work areas following safety rules.
