Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Two-year technical degree preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver's license and safe driving record required.
• Knowledgeable in maintenance equipment and reading blueprints.
• Minimum 6 months' experience repairing industrial processing equipment.
• Must pass maintenance knowledge assessment.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics is required.
• Ability to read maintenance literature in English.
• Basic computer and Microsoft Office skills.
• Lockout/Tagout experience required.
• Ability to work overtime as needed.
• Ability to lift up to 80 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Utilize hand/power tools, precision measurement tools, and electronic testing devices.
• Ensure safe operation of machinery, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
• Follow blueprints, schematics, operation manuals, and engineering specifications.
• Troubleshoot sources of equipment problems through observation and testing instruments.
• Perform boiler chemical and wastewater pre-treatment tests and log results.
• Perform daily and weekly safety checks on boilers and repairs as required.
• Record and analyze meter readings of utilities and take corrective actions.
• Perform daily and weekly safety checks and address concerns.
• Inspect motor, belts, fluids, replace filters and perform maintenance as required.
• Inspect, clean and lubricate shafts, bearings, gears and other parts.
• Utilize a Computerized Maintenance Management System.
• Perform other duties as assigned by leadership.
