Textron is seeking an entry-level Industrial Engineer to balance technical data analysis with strategic process improvements that add customer value. The role emphasizes cost reduction, production flow optimization, and KPI development across the shop floor.

You will collaborate with teams, develop labor standards, and support capacity planning efforts. This is a full-time on-site position at Textron’s Wichita location with mentorship and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or Mechanical Engineering preferred.
• Experience with Lean tools and process improvement.
• Ability to work cross-functionally and lead significant projects.
• Proficient with SAP Capacity Planning and data analysis.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide timely metrics to VSM and Director.
• Identify production flow issues and balance tasks.
• Create and automate KPIs such as Efficiency, DCI & Overtime.
• Analyze production layouts for capacity and flow improvements.
• Gather and summarize production data for CI opportunities.
• Assist in cost development and value stream mapping.
