Job summary

Kingspan is seeking an Industrial Engineer I to join our Deland, FL office. You will apply engineering principles to real-world projects and support Lean Manufacturing, continuous improvement, process mapping, and layout optimization to boost productivity and quality.

You will collaborate with Operations, Quality, Engineering, and Supply Chain to drive performance improvements and ensure safety and regulatory compliance while growing through hands-on experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Operations Management, or related field.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Process Engineering, Continuous Improvement, or related internship/co-op experience.
• Basic understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles and exposure to process mapping/value stream mapping preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyze existing processes to identify opportunities for productivity, quality, and cost improvements.
• Support Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement initiatives under guidance of senior engineers.
• Develop and maintain process maps, value stream maps, and standard work documentation.
• Conduct time studies, work measurement analyses, and labor utilization assessments.
• Design and optimize facility layouts, workflows, and material flow systems.
• Assist in tracking KPIs and monitoring operational performance trends.
• Identify and implement waste reduction and cost-saving opportunities.
• Support capacity planning, production scheduling, and resource allocation.
