Job summary

Maxim Healthcare Services in Santa Clara county is hiring Behavior Technicians to provide in-home support to children on the Autism Spectrum. This entry-level role offers paid training and flexible PT/FT schedules, with opportunities for continuing education.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills.
• Passion for working with children with special needs.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Completion of college coursework in psychology, education, social work, behavioral science or related experience, or equivalent work experience with children.

Responsibilities

• Help children work on social skills, communication skills, and repetitive or restrictive behaviors.
• Document child progress and milestones.
• Follow and implement behavior change plans created by our Board Certified Behavior Analysts.
