Job summary

Mercy Hospital Springfield Imaging is seeking an entry-level team member for day shifts who will provide direct patient care within Imaging Services and support essential operations. The role involves assisting with supplies, equipment cleaning, and maintaining Mercy’s standards of service and conduct.

The position requires a high school diploma and a current or soon-to-be BLS certification, with the ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand or walk for long periods.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Current BLS certification or completed within 30 days of hire.
• Capable of lifting, moving, and transporting patients; able to stand and walk continually; effective communication.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care consistent with established standards and Mercy Code of Conduct.
• Manages supplies, stocking, equipment cleaning and patient care in Imaging Services.
• Performs related duties as assigned and supports Mercy's mission and service standards.
