Job summary

Mercy Hospital Springfield's Imaging department seeks a full-time, day-shift imaging technologist to provide direct patient care in accordance with established standards and Mercy Service Standards.

You will be responsible for patient care, supplies, stocking, equipment cleaning, and related duties, while maintaining safety and communication with the care team. A high school diploma and current BLS certification are required; proficiency with computers is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current BLS certification or completed within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care consistent with the established standard of practice, the goals of Mercy, and Mercy Code of Conduct.
• Responsible for supplies, stocking, equipment cleaning and patient care in Imaging Services as needed.
• Performs related duties as assigned and in line with Mercy Service Standards.
