Job summary

Intertek, a leading provider of quality and safety solutions, seeks an entry-level ICC/IFC/ACI Inspector to join our PSI team in Northern California. The role involves testing, observations, and inspection duties under general supervision in the A/E/C industry.

The base wage is $35-$60 per hour, with relocation assistance. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, life, 401(k), generous PTO, and tuition reimbursement. Must hold ICC/IFC/ACI certification and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• ICC/IFC/ACI certification.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable driving record.
• Ability to work off shifts and overtime.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently; Occasionally, over 50 pounds with assistance.
• Ability to receive detailed information through oral communication and to make discriminations in sound.

Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain and calibrate testing equipment and conduct soil and/or concrete testing.
• Utilize drawings, specifications and diagrams.
• Read and interpret plans and specifications.
• Observe site activities and perform tasks and complex assignments.
• Maintain detailed documentation and data from test results.
• Communicate effectively with client and project teams and attend project meetings.
