Insa Cannabis in Easthampton, MA is seeking an entry-level HVAC Technician I to assist with inspecting and maintaining all HVAC equipment and systems in the facility. You will support senior technicians, learn diagnostics, and help manage work orders.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and 0-1 years in HVAC. A reliable vehicle, ability to work weekends, and willingness to follow safety procedures are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• 0-1 years of working experience in HVAC field.
• Familiarity with tools and equipment for HVAC maintenance and installation.
• Understanding of electrical, HVAC, plumbing and carpentry concepts.
• Adaptable, proactive, and willing to work weekends/extended hours.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Follow instructions and support senior technicians.
• Participate in routine inspections and diagnose issues.
• Submit and complete work orders accurately.
• Assist with preventive maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Assist with installation, maintenance and repair of HVAC systems.
• Operate a variety of hand and power tools for HVAC installation.
• Keep logs and records of maintenance functions.
• Ensure tools and equipment are stored properly.
• Accommodate a flexible schedule and respond to issues rapidly.
• Complete tasks within established timeframes.
• Comply with SOPs and regulations.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Follow safety procedures and wear PPE.
• Be positive, productive, and promote teamwork.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
