Job summary

Insa Cannabis in Easthampton, MA is hiring an HVAC Technician I to support inspection and maintenance of HVAC systems across facilities. You will assist senior technicians, learn equipment diagnostics, and handle routine work orders.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• 0-1 years of working experience in HVAC field.
• Familiarity with all tools and equipment necessary for HVAC maintenance and installation.
• Understanding electrical, HVAC, plumbing and carpentry.

Responsibilities

• Follow instructions and provide the necessary support to senior technicians.
• Participate in routine inspections of buildings and equipment, and learn how to identify and diagnose issues.
• Submit and complete work orders accurately and effectively.
• Assist with preventive maintenance on equipment to minimize downtime and complete emergency repairs promptly and efficiently.
• Assist with installation, maintenance and repair of ventilation and air conditioning systems and equipment.
• Operate a variety of hand and power tools needed for HVAC installation.
• Keep logs and records of all maintenance functions.
• Ensure all tools, materials, and equipment are properly stored and in good working order.
• Accommodate a flexible schedule and respond to issues or problems rapidly.
• Complete assigned tasks within the established timeframes and specifications.
• Compliant with Company SOPs, and state and federal regulations.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring tools and equipment are properly stored.
• Follow applicable safety procedures by wearing appropriate PPE, and reporting injuries, near misses, and hazards to management.
• Behave in a manner that is positive, productive, cooperative, and encourages teamwork.
• Performs other duties as assigned
