Job summary

Pioneer Valley Environmental is seeking a hands-on HVAC Maintenance Technician to join our Ware, MA team. You’ll work Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, traveling to different job sites to service HVAC systems, identify replacement parts, and perform combustion analyses.

You’ll also prepare repair estimates and discuss options with customers. Ideal candidates have 3+ years HVAC experience, OSHA/EPA certification, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to supply your own hand tools.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of HVAC experience (preferred).
• OSHA/EPA certification.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to provide your own hand tools.
• Strong technical skills and the ability to work independently.
• Commitment to professionalism and excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and service HVAC and AC systems (oil, gas/NP).
• Identify parts that need to be replaced and perform combustion analysis readings.
• Write up estimates for needed repairs and discuss options with customers.
• Head from home to various job sites; pass background checks as required.

What We're Looking For In An Hvac Maintenance Technician

• 3+ years of HVAC experience (preferred)

YOUR NEW ROLE AS OUR HVAC MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN

You'll work Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, with chances for overtime and on-call work. You'll head straight from your home to your job sites each day and only come to the office for Tuesday meetings.

Each day will start at home as you travel to different customer locations. You'll be maintaining and servicing HVAC and AC systems (oil, gas/NP), identifying any parts that need to be replaced, and performing combustion analysis readings to make sure systems are running safely. You'll also be writing up estimates for needed repairs and talking with customers about their options.

Must have the ability to pass a background check.
