Responsibilities

• Coordinate, install and/or repair sheet metal and/or duct systems.
• Assist with installation of HVAC equipment and hangs/ supports.
• Perform field fabrication and set up task schedules.
• Adjust work sequences to meet construction schedules.
• Manage materials and ensure timely completion.
• Inspect work for conformance to contract and spec.
• Read blueprints and interpret specifications.
• Attend jobsite and office meetings as required.
• Maintain equipment and ensure proper maintenance is performed.
• Meet needs of general contractors, owners and customers.
• Keep superintendent/PM informed of issues affecting production.
• Coach and mentor lower-level workers; encourage skill development.
