Job summary

Advanced Air Systems in Florida is seeking an entry-level HVAC Pre Apprentice to join our onsite team. You will train under experienced technicians, assist with installations, repairs, and maintenance for commercial and residential customers.

No prior experience required; we provide hands-on training. Must be at least 18, have a valid driver's license, and be able to lift 100 lbs and climb ladders. A drug screen and agility tests are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• No experience required; training provided.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Valid driver's license with insurable driving record.
• Able to climb ladders up to 60 ft and lift 100 lbs.
• Successful pre-employment drug and agility tests.

Responsibilities

• Assist HVAC Technician to repair refrigeration, HVAC and EMS equipment for commercial and residential clients
• Must be good with problem solving without direct supervision.
• Learn and be efficient in trouble shooting and repairing electrical problems in relation to HVAC equipment
• Learn to read and understand schematics.
• Learn and have a working knowledge of EMS components and operations
• Major tools are provided by the company.
• Assist installing air conditioning/refrigeration systems and related equipment (e.g. unit heaters, pumps, safety controls, etc) for the purpose of providing comfort inside facilities.
• Maintains tools, supplies and/or equipment

Skills

Minimum 18 years of age

Valid driver’s license
