Job summary

Service Experts Heating & Air Conditioning is seeking an entry-level Service Technician I to assist with routine residential and light commercial service and maintenance. You will work under close supervision and gain hands-on experience in diagnosing, repairing, and servicing HVAC systems.

The role emphasizes customer service, safety, and accurate documentation, with opportunities to learn EPA and safety certifications, read wiring diagrams, and perform preventive maintenance as part of a team

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 0-2+ years HVAC experience and technical training certification.
• EPA and safety certifications required by federal/state/local laws.
• Proficient at servicing HVAC systems and reading wiring diagrams.
• Must have a valid driver's license and be willing to work flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• Performs residential and light commercial service and maintenance calls under general supervision.
• Analyzes, diagnoses, and resolves customer problems in a courteous, timely manner.
• Inspects equipment and performs diagnostics to prevent breakdowns and callbacks.
• Collects payment from customers and documents work performed.
• Maintains tools and company property and communicates with dispatch on status.
