Job summary

Daikin Applied, the world’s largest HVAC company, seeks a Service Technician I for onsite work in Tampa, FL. You’ll service commercial/industrial equipment including rooftops, water-source systems, chillers, and boilers, with training across in-person, online, and on-the-job programs.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, repairs, and customer communication. OSHA 10, EPA tech certs, and a valid driver’s license support your success. Competitive pay and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• HVAC certificate from associate/technical school preferred.
• 0–2 years related experience.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• EPA Universal Technician Certification preferred.
• OSHA 10 within 90 days of hire.
• First aid/CPR card preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist and perform maintenance of commercial HVAC equipment including logging machines, cleaning coils, brushing tubes, replacing filters, belts and lubrication.
• Assist in repair and replacement of defective equipment, components or wiring for fans, coils, AHUs, rooftops, chillers, boilers.
• Maintain and inspect equipment to prevent breakdowns or callbacks.
• Assist with warranty service by inspecting and testing systems.
• Record and report billing, inventory, timecards, and reports.
• Communicate with customers, provide status updates before, during, and after calls.
