Job summary

Daikin Applied is seeking a Service Technician II in Florida, onsite. Responsibilities include diagnosing, repairing, and performing preventive maintenance on commercial HVAC systems such as rooftops, chillers, boilers, and air handlers. Lead Level I technicians and contribute to crew training.

Minimum qualifications include 3+ years of related experience, a high school diploma or GED, HVAC certificate, and a valid driver’s license. EPA Universal certification preferred; OSHA 10 a plus.

Qualifications

• 3+ years related experience with increasing responsibility or equivalent
• Technical school with HVAC certificate or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Valid Driver’s License and acceptable driving record

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance of commercial HVAC equipment and log activities.
• Repair and replacement of defective equipment and wiring in HVAC systems.
• Direct Level I technicians through hands-on demonstrations and training.
• Record billing, timecards, and service reports in a timely manner.
• Provide clear status reports to customers before, during, and after service.
