Job summary

HFA, an employee-owned multidisciplinary architectural, engineering, and interior architecture firm, seeks an entry-level HVAC designer. You will assist in drafting construction documents for building systems and coordinate with engineers, architects, and project teams in a collaborative environment.

You will apply national standards (IMC/IPC/ASHRAE) under supervision and develop skills in REVIT and Trane Trace.

Qualifications

• Entry level or individuals with 1-5 years of experience in HVAC and plumbing design.
• Assist with design, drafting construction documents for building systems.
• Apply knowledge from national standards (IMC, IPC, ASHRAE) under supervision.

Responsibilities

• Designer will assist Mechanical Engineer/Team to draft construction documents for HVAC and plumbing systems.
• Independently tackle minor challenges with support from team leads.
• Apply national standards and collaborate with architects and engineers.
• Develop skills in REVIT and travel to project sites as needed.
