Job summary

Service Experts Heating & Air Conditioning in Frederick, MD is seeking an HVAC Technician to perform maintenance calls and support service work. The role requires 0–2+ years of HVAC experience and EPA/safety certifications. You will document work on a handheld device, assist dispatch, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.

Annual compensation ranges from $41,200 to $52,500 plus incentives. Flexible hours and on-call shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with HVAC training and 0–2+ years’ experience.
• Must hold all required licensing/certifications for the work area (EPA and safety certs).
• Proficient with reading wiring diagrams and basic troubleshooting of HVAC electrical/refrigerant systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and tune-ups on HVAC equipment.
• Inspect and diagnose equipment to prevent breakdowns.
• Deliver and remove parts and equipment for service work.
• Record information using handheld device and collect payments if needed.
• Coordinate with dispatch to provide status updates.
• Promote products and services to customers.
• Maintain company property, vehicles, and tools.
• Uphold professional and ethical standards.
