About the Role

As an Entry Level HVAC Helper, you'll work alongside experienced HVAC installers and service technicians, helping complete residential heating and cooling projects while learning the trade from the ground up. You'll assist with preparing job sites, moving equipment and materials, supporting installations and maintenance visits, and learning proper HVAC procedures in a real-world environment. Every day provides new opportunities to develop technical skills while gaining experience that can lead to a long-term career in the industry.

What You'll Do

Assist technicians with residential HVAC installations, maintenance visits, and equipment replacements. Help load and unload materials, organize tools, prepare work areas, and maintain clean and safe job sites. Learn proper installation methods, equipment handling, and safety procedures while supporting experienced team members throughout the day. Communicate professionally with homeowners and represent Aspire Heating and Cooling with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for dependable individuals who enjoy working with their hands and want to build a career in the skilled trades. Previous experience in construction, maintenance, landscaping, automotive repair, warehouse work, manufacturing, or another hands-on field is helpful, but not required. Successful candidates are eager to learn, follow directions well, work safely, and contribute as part of a team. Mechanical aptitude, reliability, and a positive attitude are more important than extensive HVAC experience. A valid driver's license and reliable transportation to our Winston-Salem shop are required.
