Job summary

The U.S. Army is hiring an entry-level Human Resource Specialist to manage personnel records, administer benefits, and support soldiers across assignments. This role requires no prior experience and includes comprehensive training.

No prior experience is required; applicants must be U.S. citizens or green card holders, meet age and education requirements, and be willing to complete 10 weeks of Basic Training and 9 weeks of Advanced Individual Training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder (I-551).
• Ages 17–34.
• No felonies or open legal cases.
• Must pass drug screening and background check.
• Must be in good physical health.
• Minimum scores: 100 GT and 90 CL on the ASVAB.
• Eligible for Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Perform administrative and personnel tasks for all ranks and roles.
• Manage soldier records, benefits, and assignments.
• Maintain confidential and sensitive personnel data.
• Ensure unit readiness through effective HR support.
