Job summary

M&R Hotel Management is seeking an entry-level Hotel Maintenance Technician (Line Engineer I) to support day-to-day hotel maintenance across guest rooms, public areas, and equipment. You will help with plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and guestroom systems under supervision to ensure guest comfort and safety.

The role emphasizes learning and applying safety procedures, maintaining logs, and responding to routine service calls in a guest-friendly manner.

Qualifications

• 0-1 year of general maintenance or facilities experience preferred.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and familiarity with tools.

Responsibilities

• Assist with maintenance and repair of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and guestroom systems under supervision.
• Respond to routine service calls in a timely and guest-friendly manner.
• Complete light tasks including bulb replacement, minor drywall repair, touch-up painting, and filter changes.
• Assist in troubleshooting maintenance issues and identifying root causes.
• Perform daily inspections and document findings for guest rooms, public areas, and equipment.
• Maintain detailed logs and records of maintenance activity.
• Log daily activities, work orders, and shift issues to support effective team communication.
