Job summary

M&M Hotel Management is seeking an entry-level Hotel Maintenance Technician (Line Engineer I) for our New York property. You will assist with basic repairs, routine inspections, and preventative maintenance to support guest comfort and safety.

Under supervision, you’ll work on plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and guestroom systems, document work orders and logs, and follow safety procedures including PPE and Lockout/Tagout. Flexible schedule including nights and weekends may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 0-1 year of general maintenance or facilities experience preferred.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and familiarity with tools.
• Willingness to learn and follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Assist with maintenance and repair of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and guestroom systems under supervision.
• Respond to routine service calls in a timely and guest-friendly manner.
• Complete light tasks including bulb replacement, minor drywall repair, touch-up painting, and filter changes.
• Assist in troubleshooting maintenance issues and identifying root causes.
• Perform daily inspections and document findings for guest rooms, public areas, and equipment.
