Job summary

White Lodging is seeking an Entry Level Cook to train in a structured hotel kitchen environment. You will follow a step-by-step development program to build proficiency in core kitchen duties and adhere to F&B procedures, safety standards, HACCP, and portion control.

Must be available for early shifts (6:00am–2:00pm or 9:00am–3:30pm) and be committed to teamwork and high professional standards. Benefits and growth opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of commercial kitchen equipment and standard cooking techniques.
• Foundational skills in sautéing, broiling, frying, roasting, butchery, garde manger and pantry.
• Culinary degree or apprenticeship preferred but not required; training will follow a structured progression.

Responsibilities

• Train as an Entry Level Cook by following a structured, step-by-step development program.
• Adhere to food safety guidelines, HACCP, and internal safety standards at all times.
• Follow recipes, portioning, storage, and waste-prevention procedures with precision.
• Support kitchen efficiency and cost control while maintaining quality and presentation.
• Maintain a professional, orderly work environment and cooperate with the team.
