Job summary

WM is seeking a Hospital Services Worker to travel between patient facilities in the Pittsburgh area, providing on-site proactive collection and exchange of waste containers for Stericycle programs including Sharps, Pharmaceutical Waste, and Document Management. Start time is 5AM, Monday–Friday with Wednesdays off at West Penn Hospital, Pittsburgh, PA; free parking and mileage reimbursement available.

Role requires on-site presence, strong customer service, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Requires on-site presence at WM locations and compliance with mandatory immunization requirements.
• 2 years industry-related customer service experience preferred, or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license is required.

Responsibilities

• Travel between customer healthcare facilities to monitor, collect, and exchange waste containers for Stericycle programs and services.
• Interact professionally with onsite customer staff to meet or exceed service expectations.
• Maintain a rigid collection and service schedule.

I. Job Summary

Under management direction, a Hospital Services Worker travels between customer healthcare facilities providing on-site proactive collection and exchange of waste containers for various Stericycle programs, including but not limited to: Sharps Management Service, Pharmaceutical Waste, Controlled Substances, and Document Management. This service is provided at regularly scheduled intervals for assigned facilities.

• Interacts professionally with onsite customer staff to ensure service expectations are met or exceeded.

• May require mandatory immunizations and credentialing based on customer requirements.

III. Qualifications

• Required Qualifications
• This position requires on-site presence at WMHS customer locations and compliance with all mandatory immunization requirements imposed by such customers, and
• 2 Years industry related experience in a customer service capacity preferred, or the equivalent in related work experience, demonstrating strong communication skills and tact in providing superior customer service in a variety of settings and situations or preferred education requirement
