Job summary

Hero is seeking a Home Comfort & Services Representative to perform residential plumbing and electrical evaluations and recommend solutions for homeowners. You will build trust with customers, educate them on options, and present honest recommendations with licensed professionals.

Training is provided, including classroom and on-the-job coaching, and hours will count toward plumbing or electrical licensing.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• Trade school graduates encouraged to apply.
• Experience in residential service, maintenance, home services, or related roles is a plus.
• Able to lift 50 pounds and work in various residential environments.

A Home Comfort & Services Representative at Hero is responsible for performing members annual plumbing and/or electrical evaluations and recommending solutions for residential HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems. Success in this role starts with the ability to build trust with homeowners, communicate clearly, and help customers understand the best solutions for their home needs. Technical aptitude is important but technical skills will be provided through internal training (classroom & on-the-job training)

This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who enjoy working directly with customers, solving problems, and creating exceptional experiences. Essential Job Duties

• Perform residential evaluations of plumbing and electrical systems.
• Build trust and establish strong relationships with homeowners through exceptional customer service.
• Work closely with licensed plumbers and electricians to educate customers on system conditions, repair options, preventative maintenance, and replacement opportunities.
• Work closely with licensed plumbers and electricians to present solutions that meet customers' needs and provide value-driven recommendations.
• Identify opportunities to improve home comfort, safety, efficiency, and reliability.
• Document service findings and recommendations accurately and professionally.
• Work collaboratively with dispatch, managers, and support staff to ensure an outstanding customer experience.
• Maintain a clean, organized service vehicle and professional appearance.
• Follow all company safety procedures and applicable codes and standards.
