Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred; associate or bachelor’s degree in biological sciences is a plus.
• No prior laboratory experience required.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Proficient in basic computer skills and able to learn validated systems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Knowledge of English.

Responsibilities

• Assist in handling tissues and organs, embedding, microtomy, slide preparation, staining.
• Perform data collection, documentation, and data entry into electronic capture systems.
• Maintain inventory and support shipping of tissues.
• Support quality control activities and ensure compliance with GLP, SOPs, BOP, and IACUC rules.
• Contribute to a safe working environment by following safety procedures and PPE requirements.

Education

Associate or Bachelor’s degree in biological science
