Qualifications

• CMS knowledge and Joint Commission regulations preferred.
• EMR experience preferred.
• Healthcare Revenue Cycle experience preferred (acute care HIM).
• Must be inquisitive and open to AI-driven process improvements.
• CRCR certification required within 9 months of hire (company paid).

Responsibilities

• Completes analysis/reanalysis of all records accurately and timely.
• Follows up on missing documentation and queue items when documentation arrives.
• Contacts departments/providers for missing documentation/dictation.
• Updates unbilled spreadsheet and reports to management.
• Reviews medical records in EMR and notes deficiencies in the system.
• Manages analysis work queues to ensure timely chart completion.
• Adheres to company standards and assigns accounts to proper queues.
• Identifies systemic problems and escalates to management for resolution.
• Documents workflows and any process changes implemented or enhanced.
• Other duties as assigned.
