GHD is hiring entry-level Laborer/Equipment Operators to operate a range of heavy equipment across dirt work construction projects in the United States. You will demonstrate safe operation under varying conditions and support the construction team from site to site.

Travel is on a rotational basis, with three weeks onsite followed by a weekend at home, then another three weeks onsite; travel, mobilization, hotel, and per diem are covered by GHD.

Qualifications

• Up to 2 years in operating a variety of medium size equipment.
• Qualified in the basic operation of equipment (e.g. dozer, loader, excavator, roller/compactor, grader, Marsh Master).
• Ability to read/ use tape measures, transit/levels, etc.

Responsabilités

• Operate medium equipment at high caliber of quality.
• Safely operate equipment to meet daily production goals.
• Conduct daily maintenance checks of all operated equipment and vehicles.
• Provide physical labor with hand tools, power tools, etc. when vital.
• Read, interpret and construct according to engineered drawings/plans.
• Assist Superintendent and foreperson to ensure final product is of high quality both structurally and aesthetically.
• Complete quarterly and yearly Safety Reporting Forms (STEPs, UA/UC/SW).
