GHD in Baton Rouge seeks entry-level Laborer/Equipment Operators to operate heavy equipment such as excavators, dozers, and loaders for dirt work. Travel is rotating: 3 weeks onsite, a weekend at home, then back onsite for 3 weeks.

GHD covers travel, lodging, and per diem. Responsibilities include safe operation, meeting daily production goals, routine maintenance checks, assisting with drawings and plans, and supporting the Superintendents to ensure high-quality work.

Qualificações

• Proficient in operating medium-sized construction equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret engineered drawings/plans.
• Strong safety mindset and compliance with procedures.

Responsabilidades

• Operate medium equipment to high quality standards.
• Safely operate equipment to meet daily production goals.
• Conduct daily maintenance checks on equipment and vehicles.
• Perform physical labor with hand and power tools when needed.
• Read, interpret, and construct according to drawings/plans.
• Assist Superintendent and foreperson to ensure top-quality results.
• Complete required Safety Reporting Forms (STEPs, UA/UC/SW).
