Vulcan Materials Company is seeking a General Maintenance helper. This entry-level role assists with general tasks around the worksite under supervision and offers a path to long-term development within the company.

Responsibilities include inspecting equipment, lubricating moving parts, performing minor repairs, following MSHA/OSHA safety rules, and keeping maintenance logs. A high school diploma or GED is required, with willingness to learn and operate hand and power tools.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Experience in maintenance, preferably with heavy equipment.
• Willingness to learn mechanical and maintenance fundamentals.

Responsabilités

• Perform pre-shift and post-shift inspections and lubrication.
• Troubleshoot and replace basic mechanical components.
• Repair heavy wear-parts and perform welding/cutting/grinding.
• Follow MSHA/OSHA and LOTO safety protocols.
• Monitor crushing, washing, and screening areas and adjust as needed.
• Maintain service logs and maintenance records.
