Qualifications

• Entry-level experience or hands-on exposure to heavy equipment, diesel mechanics, or automotive repair.
• Willingness to learn and grow technical skills on the job.
• Basic understanding of mechanical, hydraulic, or electrical systems.
• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on heavy equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Learn hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems.
• Read service manuals and use diagnostic tools with guidance.
• Document service work and repairs.
• Collaborate with experienced technicians, shop foremen, and field teams.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
